FILA introduced its latest pickleball footwear, the Volley Burst, designed for today’s dynamic players. The shoe, featuring superior cushioning and grip, was fine-tuned with input from World No. 1 Anna Leigh Waters. Its design centers around FILA’s Evergrind material, providing outstanding traction for quick movements in the game, catering to both professionals and enthusiasts.
Waters, who sported the Volley Burst in all professional tournaments this fall, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “I absolutely love the Volley Burst. Being part of the shoe design process and providing feedback was awesome, and the comfort and responsiveness have elevated my game.” Waters will continue to choose the Volley Burst for her footwear in the upcoming 2024 season, while FILA-sponsored athlete Sam Querrey will debut the men’s version at PPA’s first event of the season in Palm Springs, California.
The release of the Volley Burst reaffirms FILA’s commitment to the rapidly growing pickleball community. Since the debut of the Volley Zone in 2019, the brand has led the way in performance pickleball footwear. From local US courts to Carvana PPA Tour events, the Volley Burst stands out as a versatile shoe suitable for players at all skill levels.

The men’s Volley Burst is offered in various shades: harbor mist with white asparagus/seafoam green contrasts, mazarine blue featuring safety yellow/white accents, and a classic white with FILA Navy and FILA Red trims. The women’s version showcases three distinctive designs: white with hints of metallic silver, white complemented by scuba blue/gold fusion, and a vibrant knockout pink paired with aruba blue/mazarine blue.
