NBA star and New Balance athlete, Zach Lavine, collaborated closely with the design team for the latest addition to the Fresh Foam BB series. Lavine expresses, “These are my favorite game shoes, no doubt, and I’m proud of the work I did with the design team. These are the only shoes I want to wear when I get back on the court. We also have some great colorways coming this season that I can’t wait to showcase.” The Moon Beam colorway draws inspiration from Lavine’s elegant off-court style, adding a personal touch to the latest sports footwear model.
The New Balance Fresh Foam BB v2 prioritizes top-tier comfort with a dual-density Fresh Foam midsole, combining firmer foam around the perimeter with softer durometer foam directly underfoot. The design team focused on underfoot sensation, ensuring a smooth heel-to-toe transition with the full-length Fresh Foam midsole. The hexagonal outsole pattern provides elite traction for quick moves towards the hoop.
