Shortly after the introduction of SKIMS’ men’s collection, founder Kim Kardashian returns with another impressive campaign, this time recruiting award-winning artist and Super Bowl Half-Time performer Usher as the face of the campaign.
Photographed by Donna Trope, the new visuals coincide with the imminent launch of Usher’s ninth studio album, COMING HOME. To celebrate, SKIMS will unveil an exclusive limited-edition digital download version of the album with an alternative cover and bonus track in the first week of its release.
“When I was asked to partner with SKIMS Mens, I was so humbled,” the artist begins in a press release. “Kim’s been a longtime friend of mine who’s always been so supportive of my work, so the opportunity to collaborate on a campaign that supports both of our highly anticipated launches made total sense. Launching this campaign ahead of multiple career milestones feels like a full circle moment, with SKIMS supporting the release of my new album, COMING HOME,” he continues.
Clad in the SKIMS Stretch collection, the artist models lightweight, ultra-soft pieces such as the Stretch 5-inch Boxer and Cotton 5-inch Boxer in new colors like “Stone,” “Midnight Blue,” “Military,” and “Oxblood.”
“With the way that I move, being this comfortable in what you wear is essential. SKIMS is about embracing who you are, inside and out, and feeling empowered to express yourself authentically,” adds Usher.
