Daniëlle Cathari is set to release her inaugural collaboration with New Balance, introducing a Made in UK 991v2 influenced by her fondness for pastries.
The Dutch designer and creative director of Kith Women adorns the silhouette in Pistachio green suede complemented by Chocolate Brown mesh. Cathari’s branding is embroidered on the tongue beneath the customary New Balance placement. Metallic grey overlays and a split white/cream midsole complete the design.
To commemorate the launch, the Kith Women Flagship in NYC will feature a specially crafted pastry inside the PlantShed Cafe. Named the “Catharitozzi,” the pastry draws inspiration from the color palette of Cathari’s 991v2 and was collaboratively crafted with the Queens-based bakery, Kora.
The raffle for the Daniëlle Cathari x New Balance 991v2 is now open on the Kith app and closes Thursday, February 8th at 11:59 pm EST. Pairs will also be available in-store at the Kith Women Flagship on February 9th. Explore the campaign imagery below.
