Last May, Martine Rose assumed the role of guest Creative Director at Clarks, sparking anticipation for her inaugural collection. Previewed during her Spring/Summer 2024 presentation, the debut release featured reinterpretations of classic silhouettes like the Oxford and the Loafer through Rose’s distinctive perspective. Now, the first official campaign, titled “Coming Up Roses,” has been revealed.
Photographed by Sharna Osbourne, the campaign showcases a series of bedroom vignettes inspired by Clarks’ archival advertising from the ’80s. The Martine Rose community is depicted lounging on retro bedsits, highlighting the reimagined Oxford, Loafer, and Sandal in “Brazen Pink,” “Oxblood,” and Black colorways, all crafted from 100% recycled nylon fabric.
The four-part collection, complemented by the Torhill Hi silhouette, introduces chunky platform soles, inflated heels, and snake-skin prints, reshaping the concept of “smart-casual” and providing a fresh perspective on classic footwear staples.
Explore the campaign above and visit Martine Rose’s website for immediate purchase, with a broader release scheduled through Clarks on February 16.
