Vans, an icon of skateboarding culture, returns with a new campaign, “Old Meets Knu,” featuring legendary figures Tony Alva and Breanna Geering.
Using Ed Templeton’s lens and Venedy Carter’s styling, the brand pays homage to timeless designs and stories that intertwine the past, present, and future. It’s a meeting of two worlds, where history and style converge in a unique way.
Introduced in 1977, the Old Skool has become an icon in the skate world and beyond. Its iconic Sidestripe has undergone numerous updates over the years, shaping fashion and lifestyle. Now, in the “Old Meets Knu” campaign, Vans presents the evolution of this classic in the form of the 1997 Knu Skool model. The modern silhouette from the ’90s receives a breath of fresh air with new colors, a thick tongue, 3D side stripe, and a sturdy suede upper.
Vans Knu Skool and Old Skool Classic shoes are now available at brand retailers and on their website.
