Japanese designer Verdy and his label, Girls Don’t Cry, have partnered with Dr. Martens to create a collaborative design featuring the iconic Ramsey Creeper silhouette of the British footwear brand.
Drawing inspiration from their shared connection to punk, Verdy and Dr. Martens present the Ramsey Creeper in a sleek all-black style. The uppers are predominantly crafted from smooth leather, while the vamp boasts a distinctive Hair On appearance. Additional features include D-ring eyelets, a wedge platform sole with a cleated outsole, and Dr. Martens’ recognizable yellow welt stitching. Verdy adds a GDC heart motif to the gold lace charm, along with Girls Don’t Cry branding debossed on the lateral heel and printed on the footbed.
Verdy comments, “This project holds special significance for me, especially for my wife, who has a history with Dr. Martens.” He expresses his joy in bringing this collaboration to fruition.
