GUESS USA has recently unveiled its Fall/Winter 2024 campaign, captured by Eli Russell Linnetz and spearheaded by Nicolai Marciano. The campaign spotlights the brand’s artisanal collection, showcasing innovative design techniques, fabric treatments, and daring silhouettes that have been integral to the label since its establishment.
The collection maintains the use of GUESS USA’s distinctive vintage denim and cracked leather treatments. Trucker jackets and wax-coated shorts feature heavy distressing and shredded hemlines, while a standout piece is the patchwork denim skirt. Noteworthy outerwear includes a white biker jacket adorned with postcard graphics, a patchwork leather jacket, and a varsity coat featuring an authentic graphic from the GUESS archive.
In the knitwear realm, distressed pieces take center stage, such as rustic-colored crewneck ribbed sweaters and cable knits showcasing meticulous plaited yarn craftsmanship. The collection further explores high-quality faux fur sourced from Paris, resulting in a fuzzy vest, a cropped jacket, and formalwear items like a full-length double-breasted woollen coat and a washed-out tan trench coat with purposefully distressed finishes reminiscent of the Californian sun’s warmth.
In the accessories department, FW24 introduces maxi and mini hobo bags, along with new Claudia bag iterations in pale pink, mint green cracked leather, and faded denim. The footwear selection is expanded to include work boots and vintage-inspired cowboy boots, accompanied by Western belts featuring metal hardware.
