In spring 2024, two fashion powerhouses, British Palace Skateboards and iconic American brand GAP, have joined forces to showcase an extraordinary collection, which you can explore through this post.
The PALACE GAP collection is not only a refresh of GAP’s classic designs through the lens of 90s streetwear but also Palace’s first step into children’s clothing.
As noted by Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of GAP, “Palace plays by their own rules, and their craftsmanship inspires us. This collaboration reflects the style and culture of contemporary skateboarding, and we are excited for customers to experience this unique expression of GAP.”
Lev Tanju, the founder of Palace, emphasized: “GAP was iconic for us. Clean, preppy, everything good about America, where everyone is welcome. Collaborating with GAP made sense because many of us grew up skateboarding in GAP clothes in the 90s. It’s a truly unique feeling for us to be able to co-create history with them.”
The PALACE GAP collection features 55 unique items, including sports jackets, Oxford shirts, and logo hoodies. Additionally, the collection includes exclusive logo decks, limited plush toys, and children’s clothing – all for the first time in Palace’s offering.
The campaign promoting the collection pays tribute to 90s culture and skateboarding. Captured by Jim Goldberg and directed by Will Robson-Scott, it captures the vibes of those times.
