The spring-summer season of 2024 heralds the return of the iconic maharishi motif – the Original Dragon, commemorating the brand’s 30th anniversary.

Dragons have always been perceived differently by various cultures; for most Eastern cultures, they are symbols of strength and wisdom, while in the West, they are often seen as ominous, pagan creatures.

The use of the Dragon motif is based on the concept that the serpent, as a creature most connected to the earth, symbolizes people devoid of enlightenment, while the Dragon represents a person embarking on a spiritual journey to attain the pearl of wisdom, surrounded by fire and difficult to achieve.

The iconic Dragon is filled with the Bonsai Forest pattern, combining two main thematic and aesthetic influences: the artistic roots of nature camouflage and military inspirations, evident in garments inspired by the army in Western Maharishi collections such as Original Snopants®, Snoshorts®, and Kimonos.
