Brooklyn’s Rising Streetwear Brand, Brigade, Unveils Spring ’24 Lookbook

Brooklyn-based streetwear brand Brigade has just released the lookbook for its highly anticipated Spring ’24 collection.

Established in 2014, Brigade has undergone a remarkable evolution over the past decade, transcending the initial “streetwear startup” phase characterized by basic graphic tees and hoodies. Instead, the brand has delved into the realm of technically advanced garments, exemplified by pieces like the Zion Jacket. Constructed from waxed cotton for enhanced durability and water resistance, the Zion Jacket utilizes beeswax-derived materials, prioritizing environmental sustainability over conventional plastics typically used in similar outerwear.

“Our focus this season was on elevating staple garments into attention-grabbing pieces,” explains Brigade. “This collection embodies a reimagination of classic silhouettes, such as the Zion Jacket and Split Knee Cargo Pants, transforming them into meticulously detailed and technically proficient apparel.”

A standout piece in this collection is the Moto Knit Jacket, which reinterprets the iconic leather motorcycle jacket as a knitted masterpiece, incorporating three distinct knit patterns in its design. The Split Knee Cargo Pants offer a relaxed, baggy fit and are crafted from mid-weight ripstop cotton. Founder and designer Aaron Maldonado pays tribute to his Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage with knit sweaters featuring the flags of both countries prominently displayed on the chest.

Brigade’s Spring 2024 collection will be available for purchase starting Friday, April 5th at 12pm ET on the Brigade website. Explore the complete lookbook below.
