Since their initial collaboration drop in June 2020, BAPE and COMME des GARÇONS have consistently teamed up each season to create fresh collab collections, blending motifs and iconic graphics from both brands.
This ongoing partnership extends into 2024 with a new lineup for the SS24 season, drawing inspiration from urban labor and an industrial aesthetic. Hickory stripes adorn the rain jacket, shorts, and panel cup, while chambray fabric adds to the theme on the short-sleeve button-up shirts.
Graphic tees prominently feature BAPE’s iconic APE HEAD logo. In one design, three logos are arranged horizontally with COMME des GARÇONS branding below. Green embroidery accents the black variant, while pink embroidery with neon-colored thread accents the white variant. This color scheme is mirrored in the collaborative socks.
The second tee showcases a bold, oversized APE HEAD with integrated COMME des GARÇONS branding, giving off a faded, hand-printed vibe. Co-branded elements add a pop of color to the tee, with blue on the black version and red on the white.
The collection launches exclusively on April 13th at BAPE STORE COMME des GARÇONS Osaka, with the hickory striped rain jacket and shorts following in June. Take a look at the lookbook and product shots below.
