The spring installment of the Carhartt WIP collection evokes subtlety and elegance. The third delivery takes the diverse fabric structures, such as knits, diagonal weave, and twill, to a higher level, along with delicate pastel hues and subtle finishes with a “garment-dyed” effect.
Under the vibrant Los Angeles sun, Keith Oshiro captured the texture of fabrics and intricate color configurations of this collection. New jackets and pants, inspired by classic workwear jackets and trousers, are made from thick twill fabric and appear in a saturated shade of blue. Both options feature a “stone-dyed” treatment, giving them an exceptionally soft feel and gently worn finish. Similar treatment has been applied to the Santa Fe bomber jacket.
Meanwhile, the Rainer outer shirt and shorts are crafted from medium-weight herringbone cotton. Contrasting them is the Mika shirt, made from slub-textured fabric with a check pattern.
Completing the collection is a selection of washed, yet richly saturated, knitwear basics from the Nelson line.
