Seiko introduces two new versions of the Prospex Marinemaster 1965 Diver’s Re-interpretation, bringing back the spirit of the legendary timepiece from the 1960s.
A Nod to History
Offered in Green-Water and Blue-Water Navy editions, these watches pay homage to the iconic Marinemaster model worn by members of the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition from 1966 to 1969.
Classic Design with Modern Enhancements
The new watches maintain the proportions and elegance of the original while incorporating modern improvements. The textured dial in shades of green and blue contrasts with the black or matching bezel. Lumibrite-coated indexes ensure visibility up to 200 meters underwater.
Precision Engineering
Inside the 39.5mm stainless steel case lies the 6L37 automatic movement, providing up to 45 hours of power reserve.
Availability and Pricing
Both models of the Seiko Prospex Marinemaster 65 have a price tag set at £2,930 GBP and will be available for order through the Seiko website starting from July.
Summary
The Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Watch brings back the timeless elegance of the 1960s with a blend of classic design and modern craftsmanship. With its historical significance and contemporary features, it's a timepiece that appeals to both collectors and enthusiasts alike.
