Maharishi, a brand renowned for its unconventional approach to fashion, has unveiled its latest collection titled “Everything Flows · Be Here Still.” This collection seamlessly blends Eastern and Western influences, presenting them through a variety of silhouettes, including iconic kimonos, trousers, and technical outerwear.
The Essence of Duality
Duality is a key element in Maharishi's creations, evident in the representations of Yin and Yang. The Panther-Chimera motif symbolizes the constant pursuit of balance, where opposites complement and contrast each other. This artistic take on military style with a pacifist message is also highlighted in hand-embroidered emblems like Pax Cultura and Peace Dove on classic models such as the Original Snopants®.
Innovative Camouflage and Sustainable Practices
This season introduces innovations in camouflage with the DPM: Reflective Sparse Bonsai pattern, marking the 20th anniversary of the DPM Encyclopedia published by the brand's founder, Hardy Blechman. The British brand continues to transform military wear through recycling and sustainable practices, utilizing materials such as British wool, Japanese recycled nylon, hemp, and organic cotton.
