Today on International Women’s Day we are saluting @ImillaSkate, a collective of Indigenous women from Bolivia who challenge gender stereotypes through skateboarding—tearing down the notoriously steep streets wearing traditional pollera skirts.

For them, skateboarding is more than a sport—it’s a statement of resilience and empowerment in a machismo society. And now, they’re building a skate park and community center to inspire the next generation. Documentary coming soon.
